Each year Dixie MPO seeks public input on actions taken on the Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP). In January 2018, the MPO identified $2.3 million in funds that could be programmed to projects in STIP Year 2022. Three separate applications sought these funds:
MPO officials voted to program the STIP Year 2022 funds as follows:
- $2 million to construct Washington Parkway from I-15’s Exit 13 to Green Springs Road (Project #16646). Together with previous actions by the MPO, a total of $4.6 million is programmed to this project. Washington City agreed to pay the local match requirements plus any additional costs of the project. A concept report and map are available at Washington Parkway.
- $300,000 to re-construct and widen Old Highway 91 from 200 East to Shivwits Reservation in Ivins. Funds now programmed for the project total $2.6 million. Ivins City agreed to pay the local match requirements plus any additional costs of the project. A concept report and map are available at Old 91.
Public comment is now being sought on these actions and decisions.
